Rooted Hudson Valley Branding Collaboration

Commissioned and art directed by designer Rachael Gibilterra, a collection of botanical pen and ink drawings were created for the newly-branded real estate firm Rooted Hudson Valley. Illustrations were converted from original ink scans to bitmap to create a unique and flexible visual identity that captured the nature of their mission.

Working closely with the founder, each label was meticulously sketched and painted for each individual tea. Great care was taken to represent the ingredients in a beautiful and accurate way.

Stanford Alumni Magazine, May 2019

Stanford Magaine approached with the need for a watercolor work of the artichoke featuring A Botanist in the Kitchen, describing the complicated petals and structure. A second illustration depicting the fibonacci sequence in pen and ink was also provided.
